M otorola’s mission is to win back lost market shares, and the Motorola Milestone is part of that strategy. Motorola is going down a new, logical road with the Android operating system. The Motorola Milestone has a foldable QWERTY-keyboard, a 5.0 megapixel digital camera, a built-in GPS-antenna, HSDPA and Wi-Fi. We have extensively tested the Motorola Milestone smartphone.

Motorola Milestone review - 5 Megapixel digital camera

Taking pictures is also possible with the Motorola Milestone, thanks to the integrated 5.0 Megapixel digital camera.The camera application is started up with the record key in the top right corner, or via the menu with the quick camera button. When you use the camera often, you can easily make a quick link on one of the main screens by holding down the function in the menu and then letting go in the desired location. Starting up the camera application takes about three seconds, so patience is necessary.

 

 

Review Motorola Milestone - Android Internet browser

The Android Platform's Internet browser is always fast, user-friendly and good. This combined with the Motorola Milestone's large touch screen, makes it an ideal smartphone to surf the net with. It is easy to zoom in by double clicking or moving your fingers away from each other. Entering text can be done with a virtual keyboard on the screen or an extendable keyboard. I personally did not use the extending keyboard very much, but it can be very handy sometimes. The display is good, regardless of the type of website being shown. Unfortunately flash is not yet supported by the browser.

After a successful introduction in the U.S., the Motorola Milestone is being introduced in more and more countries as part of Motorola's comeback strategy.
