W ith the arrival of the Vivaz, Sony Ericsson demonstrates that they are taking a different road. Often Sony Ericsson cell phones can be recognized immediately as such, but with the Sony Ericsson Vivaz that is certainly not the case. Sony Ericsson Vivaz review : Symbian phone menu

A set of three buttons are found underneath the screen. The menu key is found in between the answer and hang up buttons. When this is used, we arrive in the main menu with twelve icons. When the menu key is held down longer, you will get a list of active programs. With Symbian it is always good to keep in mind that the more programs are running, the slower the phone gets and the battery also runs out faster. In the menu, next to the standard options, the Sony Ericsson PlayNow and Apps are included.

Sony Ericsson Vivaz HD video and pictures

We have tested a Samsung with the possibility of recording in HD earlier. The result is similar; the resolution is good, only the quality is a bit disappointing. Especially when the lighting conditions are not optimal, digital noise becomes a problem. The Sony Ericsson Vivaz does not replace the camcorder. The photos made with the Sony Ericsson Viva, are however, as we are used to, simply good. The colors are nice and lively, the sharpness is fine and you can take a good photo under almost all circumstances. Despite the application and the placement of the camera on the back, this is an excellent part of this Symbian smartphone.
