A lthough the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona is just behind us, and we could not find a new smartphone at the Blackberry booth, but it seems that BlackBerry will shortly be introducing a new smartphone. The MWC 2010 was especially an event for BlackBerry to draw attention to the different services they offer, and the endless cooperation between enterprises. There had been some rumors a while ago about a so-called BlackBerry Slider, but there was not much hard evidence. Actually, recent image material has stirred up the rumors once again. Photo material coming from a Black Berry Slider smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard makes it obvious.

 

BlackBerry Slider phone features

At this moment it is unclear which position the new BlackBerry Slider smartphone will take, but it is expected that we will shortly receive the official specifications. According to a source that has had the BlackBerry smartphone in its hands, the new BlackBerry Slider resembles the Storm 2, although it lacks the SurePress touch screen technology. The display format is also different from previous existing models.

At this moment there is little concrete information about this new BlackBerry Slider smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard, but the fact that there is already photo material available, indicates that it may be introduced soon.
