Huawei SmaKit S7 tablet
Huawei also showed a special docking station with which the Android S7 tablet gets a HDMI-out interface and thus can show 720-p video on large format screens. The Huawei tablet dock is also equipped with two USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interfaces. The Huawei SmaKit S7 also has a built-in microSDHC card slot with support for the standard microSDHC cards up to 32GB. There is no microSDXC support yet, and we have a hunch that we will have to wait until 2011 for that.

Huawei SmaKit Android tablet
Via the special tablet dock and the USB interface, an external hard disk can be connected on which all (High Definition) content is saved and can be played via the Huawei SmaKit S7. The built-in 3G technology makes it possible to make calls. During the short demo we also saw a built-in webcam: will video calling also be supported? The Huawei Android internet tablet weighs about 500 grams and has a battery life of about 4 hours while playing 720p HD video.

Huawei SmaKit S7 internet tablet
The Huawei S7 android tablet is expected to be available in the summer of 2010. During the demonstration, the Huawei SmaKit S7 ran on Android 1.6, but also this will be improved in time, to make Android 2.1 available for the Huawei Android tablet. An interesting new internet tablet with a lot of potential.
