T he newest generation of Microsoft portable media players, the Zune HD, had its own spot during the Consumer Electronics Show 2010 in Las Vegas. Visitors could listen to content and also receive a detailed explanation to convince them that the current content-service offered by Microsoft can be very attractive for them. The Microsoft Zune HD has a built-in HD radio receiver with a higher quality of sound. Via the HD radio stations, listeners get direct access to music and information about the artist. When the broadcast contains a track that you don't really like, you can switch to HD2 or HD3 to listen to a different one. Multitasking indeed!

Playing music, photo and videos on the Microsoft Zune HD

The Microsoft Zune HD has a clear, 3.3-inch OLED display with a 480x272 pixels resolution and a widescreen 16:9 reproduction. The display is a touchscreen, so that owners can easily leaf through music, films and other content. The HD quality is not only meant for the Zune HD media player, via the HD-compatible output interface to an optional HDMI-docking station, the 720p signal can be sent directly to a High Definition TV.
