A lthough Philips is a big electronics manufacturer, a large market share of the telecom market does not seem to be in the cards for this giant. Locally, different mobile phones appear here and there, often with little information about the phone specifications. Such as we came across the Philips Xenium X605 cell phone. And that is about all there can be said about it. Except that the Philips X605 touch-screen mobile phone is equipped with a 3.2 Megapixel digital camera, there is not much else worth mentioning. Where, when and if we will come across the Philips Xenium X605 cell phone in real life, is uncertain.

Philips is not named as having a showcase at the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona, but it is possible that we will encounter the Philips Xenium X605 in a so-called Technical Booth at the congress. The Philips X605 touchscreen cell phone doesn't seem to be very innovative, especially with a powerful name such as Philips, we expected more. In reality, if we are not mistaken, Philips closed down its cell phone division in 2007, and it is now run by the China Electronics Corporation.
