A ccording to a leaked HTC roadmap 2010, we can prepare ourselves for a new series of HTC cell phones. One of the expected smartphones is the HTC Bravo, an Android smartphone from HTC’s Performance segment. Earlier there were already rumors about this phone model, but then Passion and Dragon were named as possible model names. The leaked HTC roadmap makes it clear that the name will actually be HTC Bravo. The HTC Bravo smartphone is equipped with a fast Snapdragon QSD 8250 1GHz processor and therefore the HTC Bravo fits in the Performance segment. The HTC Bravo mobile phone will also support 720p HD video, a quality that we will come across more and more in the coming year.

 

HTC Bravo Android smartphone

According to HTC, the HTC Bravo Android smartphone will give the user an unprecedented multimedia experience. This is a great marketing gimmick, but the first mobile phone specifications that we have seen give us high expectations. HTC Bravo's display is a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED screen that guarantees wide angle viewing and a high quality image. For its energy source, the HTC Bravo smartphone uses a Li-Ion battery with a 1400mAh capacity.

 

HTC Bravo mobile phone features

Of course the HTC Bravo phone is equipped with a digital camera; in this case it is a 5 Megapixel AF camera. Video is stored in the internal memory, but more logically in an external memory card. The HTC Bravo Android smartphone is therefore equipped with a card slot that supports a microSDHC flash memory card. The maximum storage capacity is thus 32 GB.

 

 

HTC Bravo price & availability

 The HTC Bravo smartphone is expected to be equipped with at least Google Android 2.1 OS, by the time that it will actually be introduced and be available. According to the most recent information, the HTC Bravo will be available in April 2010. Perhaps we will get a look at the HTC Bravo up close at the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona.
