Samsung HD review - Recording High Definition videos
The HD in the model name refers to High Definition video quality. High definition video comes in several formats, namely 720p (1280x720) and 1080p/1080i (1920x1080). The latest version is Full HD, which features the maximum resolution. This high-quality video does require more storage capacity, hence the Blu-Ray disk. The Samsung i8910 is able to capture HD videos with a maximum resolution of 1280x720. A 40-second movie requires approximately 50MB. This way, you don't just own a digital camera, but also a genuine camcorder.
Samsung HD test - Symbian phone menu
Striking about the Symbian menu design is that it often comes across as slightly old-fashioned, however, this is not the case for the Samsung HD, where it is all on par with the design of the mobile phone itself, making it look even more classy than it already is. The center button below the screen serves to return one step, and by keeping it pressed longer, you will get to the activated applications.
Samsung HD reviews - Omnia HD i8910
