Sony Ericsson W995 Walkman review
The Walkman Phones of Sony Ericsson's W-series are renowned for their excellent and effortless handling of multimedia files. The main menu contains the items Walkman and Media. The Media icon contains all of the media that is available on the phone. Media is divided into sub categories; Picture, Music, Video, Games and Webfeeds, which makes it easy to find what you're looking for. When inserting a memory card, it will automatically be searched and the content will be placed in the proper category. The Media application looks neat and well-structured, and additionally works fast and easy. If you select Walkman in the menu, you will gain access to the actual Music section of Media and the last song played.
Sony-Ericsson Walkman phone supports PlayNow Plus
As we already mentioned earlier, the thing that makes the T-Mobile version of this Sony Ericsson W995 so unique, is the PlayNow Plus application. This application allows unlimited music downloads for a small monthly fee. Now this is real service for the music fan, and even upon purchasing the phone, it has 1000 tracks already preloaded on the phone's memory. The service works fast, searching and downloading is easy. It's only now and then you're trying to find a song that is not there. The new service definitely has a bright future ahead of it, while it is very innovative to be able to download a song directly via the phone. If you use the service on a frequent base, it's well worth the small fee you have to pay for it. Furthermore, the music can be played on three computers. If you were to send a song to another phone by Bluetooth, an alert pointing out the lack of rights will appear.
