D igital reading being the new way of reading is pretty much a fact by now. We simply can't get around it, since there are thousands of digital copies being sold on Bol.com, while at the same time we witness an increasing amount of E-readers. Sony and Bol.com have set their heart on digital reading, and are hoping for an actual reading evolution. Sony Ereader review - Design

Thanks to its appearance, I was not embarrassed to use this Sony E-reader during my train journeys to read an ebook. It is a device that arouses curiosity around you. It is innovative, fresh and without a doubt ready for the future. I have also taken the Sony Reader Pocket Edition along to school, and every time I took the device out of my bag, people reacted positively to it, and certainly with curiosity. It truly is an eye-catcher. The Sony Reader Pocket Edition is available in the colors navy blue, rose and silver.

E-Ink screen of the Sony Reader Pocket Edition

The Sony Reader Pocket Edition uses a screen with an electronic ink technique (short for E-Ink). Unlike a flickering unclear image on a TFT screen, which is often unpleasant to read, the E-Ink screen of the Sony Reader displays the text exactly like the page of a book. And as it is; paper becomes yellow after a while, which will certainly never happen to the Sony E-reader. If I can be completely honest, I have to admit I don't like reading at all. A book should really grab a hold of me, and this only happens very rarely. Besides, I generally find reading in bed inconvenient, while I never seem to find a comfy position. But lo and behold; the Sony Reader has really changed things for me!

The Sony Reader Pocket Edition is a small pocket-sized eBook that makes it possible to carry along hundreds of books inside your pocket. The Reader Pocket Edition has a stylish appearance featuring clear buttons and icons, a fast processor, and a bright and promising e-ink screen including support of ePub, PDF, Word and JPEG format.
