LG Arena KM900 review - Smartphone menu
The menu of the LG Arena has changed drastically, thanks to the new S-Class User Interface. The changes are positive by all means. Not only is it beautifully designed from a graphical viewpoint, but it is also easy to work with and proves remarkably smooth. There are four start windows; Shortcuts, Widgets, Contacts and Multi media. These start screens can be changed by moving them, which will make the screen rotate like a cube. Or you can use the middle touch key to do so. A rotating 3D cube will be displayed, at which you can choose the desired screen. Furthermore, there are four shortcuts below the start screen at all times, a keypad to select a phone number, messages, phone list and the menu button.
LG Arena KM900 test - Touchscreen mobile phone
The touchscreen of the LG Arena features a resolution of 800x480. Thanks to this high resolution, the reproduction is extremely clear. The touchscreen used on the LG Arena is heat sensitive. This means that operation can only be carried out by your finger and not by any kind of stylus pen. The touch sensitivity of the screen is excellent. At this time, I would consider it the best touchscreen available, together with the iPhone's touchscreen. You hardly have to press and everything responds, shifts, and confirms, both smoothly and quickly. There is also a slight vibration when you touch something on the screen.
LG KM900 Arena review
The Arena is the start of a new era for LG. This mobile phone is extremely innovative, not only when it comes to its design, but also its features and user's ease. The LG KM900, or LG Arena, features a 5.0 Megapixel digital camera, GPS antenna, WiFi, HSDPA and a unique 3D S-Class User Interface, among other things. Our experience with this new LG smartphone can be read in the following LG KM900 Arena review.
