Toshiba M400 review - Playing music on the JournE M400
Music gets stored on the microSD card and is displayed on the Toshiba the same way you have put it on there, with exactly the same file names etc. There are two possibilities to listen to your music: via the external speaker or via the 3mm jack. The external speaker produces a reasonable sound if you put the M400 on its stand. Naturally, it is impossible to produce a similar sound to that of a genuine speaker, but the M400's external speaker is well on its way. If you listen to the music through headphones or earplugs, you get a similar music quality.
Toshiba M400 test - Toshiba JournE M400 picture mode
It is obvious what you can do with the Toshiba M400's picture mode. The appearance of the device already looks a lot like a picture frame and you can't miss it, due to the stand on its back. Originally, the Toshiba is a digital photo frame with many additional features. Pictures (stored on the microSD card), are displayed sharply, clearly and with true-to-life colors, although they might be harder to see in bright sunlight.

Multimedia player review : Toshiba M400
The Toshiba JournE M400 is a photo frame belonging to the JournE series. There's more to the Toshiba M400 than just displaying pictures digitally. It also allows you to listen to music, watch videos, and thanks to its DVB-T receiver, you can even watch TV on it. Operation happens through the touchscreen and all files are stored on a microSD memory card. It is not exactly the cheapest device. Is the M400 worth its money?
