N owadays, mobile telephony is more than just communication. Not only should it meet customers’ needs, it should also be fun. Look around you in a train or at the airport. BlackBerry Storm review - Phone operation

The Blackberry Storm looks like a modern PDA and feels just as bulky and heavy. The large 3.3 in touchscreen is supported by 4 basic buttons on the front, 4 on the side and 2 on the top. The screen is revolutionary, even for a touchscreen. It's based on a new technique, called SurePress, which turns the entire screen into a large button. You have to literally press the screen after selecting an item with your finger.

BlackBerry 9500 Storm test - Accelerator function

Like many other smartphones, the Blackberry Storm also features an accelerator. This preinstalled software enables the screen to automatically rotate when the device rotates. This is nice since it allows you to work in landscape as well as in portrait mode. SMS text messages, emailing and watching videos is better in landscape mode, whereas surfing the Internet, using the menu and calling is more pleasant in portrait mode.

Since then, Vodafone and Research in Motion continuously strived to maintain this image and strengthen it, resulting in the Blackberry Storm 9500 smartphone. Is the Blackberry Storm cell phone able to keep pace with its predecessor's image?  Read our full BlackBerry Storm review.
