B eside producing flash memory cards SanDisk has lately obviously also been focusing on producing MP3 players. The SanDisk Sansa Series was launched into the market in one sudden blow, and the Fuze is already the next gem in this series. The Sansa Fuze supposedly features an improved interface compared to its predecessor, the Sansa View, as well as an improved operating system to get this MP3 player ready to battle the third Apple iPod Nano generation. SanDisk Sansa review - Watching videos on the Sansa Fuze

The 1.9 inch screen of the SanDIsk Fuze MP3 player plays videos very clearly. Even though the screen is on the small side, watching a video is still very pleasant on the Fuze MP3. The SanDisk Sansa Fuze supports the MPEG5 format, although it remains unclear in what compression. If you want to convert a movie to the Sansa format, I'd advise you to use the Sansa Media Converter in order to ensure you are able to play the movie on the Fuze. On top of that, you will obtain the best video quality.

SanDisk Sansa Fuze MP3 player with radio function

The SanDisk Sansa Fuze media player offers some nice additional functions such as radio and voice recording. The radio of the SanDisk Fuze surprised me by its excellent reception and I used the radio option frequently whilst testing. The radio offers 40 selectable radio stations and you can of course search for your favorite radio frequency. The voice recording function does not only let you record, store and afterwards listen to voice or sound fragments, it also allows for radio recordings.
