Music quality of the Creative ZEN MP3 player
The name already gives it away: it is a Creative Zen with integrated X-Fi technology. Already an achievement in itself; as even without X-Fi activated the sound is clear and round in combination with the included in-ear earphones that fit perfectly in your ear and block out surrounding noise.
Playing videos on the Creative Zen X-Fi
The Zen is also able to play videos. Transferring and converting is carried out through Creative Central software (Creative's own media player) and if a video format is not supported by the media player, it will be automatically converted whilst transferring to a format that is supported. The monitor is extremely clear and sharp, and it is surprisingly pleasant to watch a video on it.
Creative Zen reviews : X-Fi mediaplayer
In addition to the standard media player functions, the Creative Zen X-Fi features two valuable technologies; X-Fi and Wi-Fi. Besides Wi-Fi and X-Fi, you can play video and audio via the media player, view pictures and listen to the radio. There are numerous possibilities. And all of this on a device with dimensions of only 2.1 x 3.2 x 0.5 inches. I am curious to learn how it all functions inside a housing this small. Our experiences with this MP3 player can be read in the following Creative ZEN X-Fi review.
