A fter a long silence, a new Motorola mobile phone was introduced; the Motorola ZN5 Motozine. This promising handset features a 5.0 Megapixel digital camera with special Kodak Imaging Technology. The Motorola ZN5 also offers Wi-Fi, FM radio, Bluetooth and expandable memory. The cell phone itself looks neat, although not particularly exciting. In my opinion, the menu of previous Motorola phones was not all that user-friendly. However, it has improved on the Motorola ZN5, where the menu is straightforward; consisting of nine icons.

Motorola chooses Kodak camera technology

In cooperation with Kodak, Motorola has integrated a special technology into the ZN5 Motozine, enabling faster and better image processing. Therefore, the 5.0 Megapixel digital camera takes considerably better pictures. This is mainly thanks to the unparalleled speed with which a picture can be captured, generally unheard of for a mobile phone, enabling you to shoot any snapshot at all times.

 

 

Motorola ZN5 review - Multimedia functions

The menu icon 'Multimedia' contains all the available multimedia functionalities. You will find the digital camera, FM radio, voice recorder and music library here. As for the music library; displaying artist, album or genre is possible. This makes navigating through large files of music extremely easy and well-structured. All audio is automatically uploaded here. Changing between different tracks is very fast, even if these have to be read from a memory card. Furthermore, the media player looks neat.

 

 

 

Motorola ZN5 test

The Motorola ZN Motozine stands out from the crowd. The Motorola ZN5 is the first mobile phone with integrated special Kodak technology, which naturally facilitates shooting when it comes to both quality and speed. It is not unlikely we will hear more about this Kodak Imaging Technology in the future. Either way, the Motorola ZN5 Motozine is already famous by now, by the name of Kodak Phone.
