Trade in your old iPhone
The new phones cost as much as $600 when they were first announced but for existing iPhone owners upgrades are available for $200-$300 depending on the iPhone model. Freeiphoneswap.com promises to make obtaining a new 3G iPhone as easy as 1-2-3. The website will pay consumers $100-$200-$300 depending on the model of iPhone that they presently have, which will in turn allow the consumer to upgrade to the new 3G for free.

Free iPhone upgrade
"We will take in all working original iPhones and give the consumer, in most cases $200 - which is the cost of the standard upgrade to the new 3G Apple iPhone," said Freeiphoneswap.com spokesman, Sam Hickson. The Apple iPhones that are traded in will be stripped for their essential components, with non-essential parts disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. And the owners of Freeiphoneswap.com will donate 10% of the trade in proceeds to youth educational programs.
