N owadays, the emphasis in the digital revolution lies on innovation and development. That is one of the reasons for companies such as Samsung to continue their search for new possibilities with a fresh view. Mobile photography is carefully moving into the photography market, and the Samsung G810 mobile phone is a good example. Not only are the possibilities of the built-in digital camera more enhanced than those of the average camera phone, also the multi-functionality of the G810 as a whole is surprising. The device is able to serve as a route navigator and comes with Route 66 navigation software for Western Europe.

Samsung G810 Review

Samsung G810

Inside the box, there are several included items such as a battery charger, USB cable and PC studio software to manage your files. In addition, a headset, TV cable, 2GB microSD memory card and, surprisingly, Route 66 navigation software, are also found in the package. Since the phone also serves as route navigator, a car holder is standard delivered with the Samsung 810. The quick start guide is available in two languages and besides that; manuals for the Route 66 navigation software are available. I am someone who cares a lot about treating my equipment well; therefore I really miss a pouch for this mobile device.

Samsung mobile phone review

The silver-coloured Samsung G810 is a slider phone with a considerably large size of 4 x 2 x 0.7 inches. These characteristics give the Samsung G810 its business-like look. Personally, I prefer compact cell phones, since I'd rather not notice the handset in my trouser pocket. However, the professional design does appeal to me. The front of the device looks like a mobile phone, the back like a digital compact camera as soon as the cover protecting the camera lens opens. On one side of the cell phone, there are some handy quick access buttons such as the shutter release button for the digital camera, the on/off button and the volume adjustment button. There is also room for a microSD slot, an ear-set connection and a multi-functional connection for the USB cable and battery charger. Continue to read the full Samsung G810 review and take a look at the various sample photos.
