J BL announced the introduction of its JBL Control NOW indoor and JBL Control NOW AW outdoor loudspeakers for home, multiroom, architectural and additional applications. Both feature a unique quarter-round shape that provides unprecedented installation possibilities, and incorporate innovative technologies to deliver clear and evenly distributed sound.

JBL Control NOW speaker system
The JBL loudspeakers' curved shape enables them to be placed virtually anywhere. They can be corner-mounted between a ceiling and wall or between two walls, or placed either horizontally or vertically on a shelf. JBL Control NOW speakers can be joined to create half-round, three-quarter-round, or round configurations, and hung from a ceiling using an optional pole-mount bracket and standard ceiling-fan hardware.

JBL Control NOW and JBL Control NOW AW loudspeakers deliver outstanding sound quality even in less-than-optimal acoustic situations. Both feature a tweeter mounted in a JBL Bi-Radial horn that is optimized to provide smooth frequency response in any mounting configuration.

The tweeter is complemented by dual 4-inch woofers that are computer-designed to deliver high output with minimal distortion. The loudspeakers' enclosures are made from a high-strength composite material for maximum sonic clarity and durability. The JBL Control NOW loudspeakers are currently available at $249 each (SRP). The JBL Control NOW AW will be available in late June 2008 at $279 each (SRP).
