Looking to extend donations beyond what has been committed by HTC and the HTC Foundation, HTC Chairman Cher Wang, Board Director H. T. Cho and Chief Executive Officer Peter Chou issued an e-mail appeal to HTC's 7,000 employees worldwide to encourage them, their families and others to contribute during a special week-long donation drive. Resulting donation commitments will be bundled with HTC and HTC Foundation contributions and channeled to earthquake relief and reconstruction efforts.
