Slifter worked closely with LG Mobile Phones to create the mobile component of a recently launched national sweepstakes, by constructing the text messaging campaign and building a wireless sign-up site that links to local LG Mobile products. "LG consistently designs its handsets to improve the value of customer life and we seek to do the same for our promotions," said Carl Brown, senior manager of trade marketing for LG Mobile Phones. "Working with Slifter provides the consumer with the convenience of entering a sweepstakes as well as finding LG products at nearby retail locations the moment they see the marketing materials."

The sweepstakes, which runs through May 15th, gives consumers the chance to win a $7,000 LG Electronic Makeover and daily prizes ranging from LG Mobile Phones to movie tickets. Using mobile technology in a marketing campaign to drive local foot traffic into stores illustrates LG's leadership in innovation," said Alex Muller, CEO of Slifter. "The relationship between Slifter and LG Mobile Phones takes promotions and marketing to the next level sales." To enter the sweepstakes from a Web-enabled mobile phone, consumers are directed to text "LG" to 42229 or to visit http://m.lg2win.com/. (Standard carrier charges may apply for receiving a text message and using data services. Check with your carrier to determine which charges, if any, will apply.)
