W hether waiting in line at the movies, riding in a taxicab, or on the go, Alltel customers can now shop from their BlackBerry smartphones. Alltel Wireless America’s largest network, providing coverage across the nation, introduced Digby Powered by Alltel, a free mobile shopping service for new Research In Motion (RIM) BlackBerry smartphone users. As a result, Alltel customers will have easy access to products from an expanding list of retailers that includes Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Godiva Chocolatier, and online retailer FTD. Customers can easily access Digby by going to the Alltel website from their mobile phone and selecting Digby.
