Little Helper
The first ad in the new campaign, titled "Little Helper," features Santa Claus consulting Alltel's Chad on what cool new gifts he can give the good boys and girls for the holidays. He also let's us know that it definitely won't be the "Sales Guys." The spots are airing on several cable networks including VH1, ABC Family, Bravo and CMT. The holiday campaign was developed by Campbell-Ewald Detroit and the stop-motion animation spots were created by Bent Image Lab, an award-winning animation studio based in Portland, Ore.
Holiday gifts - MotoRazr V3a
The ad highlights Alltel's exclusive holiday gifts promotion offering shoppers a free MotoRazr V3a when they purchase one at $19.99. This offer, available to new customers signing a two-year service agreement and to existing customers on qualifying rate plans, is available until January 10, 2008. "Our ‘Sales Guys' campaign has become so popular we thought, putting Chad in the style of some of the classic Christmas shows would further endear him to customers and recapture some of that holiday magic," said Laura Cook, senior vice president of marketing communications for Alltel Wireless. "These spots along with a buy one get one free MotoRazr V3a will surely brighten the holidays."
Motorola MotoRazr V3a
The MotoRazr V3a features a camera with video capture and playback, enabling users to share memories with friends and family using Alltel's Axcess Picture and Video Messaging services. Celltop contains "cells" that provide shortcuts to the weather, news, music, sports, ringtones, call log, stocks and more.
