C ellufun announced their 'Hellofun' celebration; a community event where users can decorate their homepages and dress up their avatars in costumes. Just like all people who trick-or-treat every Halloween across the VS, Cellufun users can collect treats and give out tricks, right from their mobile phone. Registered users will find -from today on- a link on their homepage that invites them to "Celebrate Hellofun." Users start decorating their homepages with Halloween imagery, choose frightfully clever costumes for their avatars, and compete in giving and getting tricks and treats.

Celebrate Halloween with Hellofun

"We wanted to allow our mobile community to celebrate Halloween together and capture that sense of wonder you felt as a kid when you got that special candy, therefore we have created Hellofun," said Arthur Goikhman, Cellufun's CEO. "The concept is based on visiting each other's mobile profiles, trick-or-treating and creating suspense about what you're actually going to get. Also the costumes matter; a poorly matching costume might get a rock, or a trick, a well conceived one a chocolate."

Tick or Treat with Halloween

A "these homes are happening" list creates trick-or-treating frenzies at the homepages of the most generous givers. Users shouldn't forget to come back home and give out goodies as well, otherwise rumors about their stinginess would quickly spread, which will result in getting only tricks in their bags. Being generous is not that easy either as users have to purchase the treats that they give out, by using their Cellupoints.

Halloween celebration - Hellofun contest winners

True to the spirit of the holiday, Hellofun contest winners will be announced on the night of October 31^st, at midnight. Prizes will be awarded to the most generous players and those accumulating the most treat and tricks. Cellufun will also run two scavenger hunts related to the event: the first to give a treat to every costume type and the first to go online at every decorative banner type will win a frighteningly good prize. Finally, trophies will be awarded for each scavenger hunt and for giving out the most treats.
