L G recently launched the Venus, a true fashion cell phone. The LG Venus, also called LG VX8800 Venus, is the successor of the LG VX8500 Chocolate. The most important improvement is its unique LCD color screen. The resolution and number of colors have stayed the same, however the LG Venus incorporates dual front screens, of which the lower screen is a touch screen. The touch screen is also able to give vibration feedback, which make accessing the phone’s features a breeze.

LG Venus Music

But the LG Venus has more to offer; a dedicated music key makes it possible to easy access the music player. The MP3 player supports .mp3, .wma and unprotected .aac file playback. A Bluetooth stereo is also included, so no headset or stereo wires needed anymore! The LG cell phone is further packed with capabilities exclusive to Verizon Wireless, such as access to Get It Now downloadable applications and V CAST Video and Music.

 

 

LG Venus Digital Camera

Another improvement of the LG Venus is its 2.0 Megapixel digital camera, which was only 1,3 Megapixel on the LG Chocolate phone. The 2 Megapixel camera can make photos up to a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels and features landscape rendering as well. To store all of your favorite photos and music an extra microSD card can be inserted, to hold up to 8GB of memory.

 

 

Verizon Wireless LG Venus

The mobile phone portfolio of LG includes best-in-class multimedia wireless phones to offer customers the latest innovative technologies and an array of features. It seems like LG has understood the demand for fully featured phones. Based on the information we currently have, the LG Venus seems to meet these requirements quit good.

The Venus by LG will be exclusively available from Verizon Wireless. This stylish and slim slider cell phone comes in the colors black and pink and will become available this fall. The pricing is yet to be determined but will most likely be somewhere between $150 and $350, which is a little cheaper than its also newly launched brother; the LG Voyager.
