L G has recently launched the LG Voyager, a clamshell cell phone with a large external touch screen. The LG Voyager boosts very nice features, like a full QWERTY keypad, HTML browser, GPS mapping and V Cast capabilities. V CAST is a 3G EV-DO network created by Verizon Wireless used for streaming of video clips and music. Some videos may be saved to the phone or a removable memory card, which cannot be read by other phones or computers. V CAST is one of the few mobile phone-based systems on which more advanced games, including those with 3-D graphics can be played. V CAST-capabilities which are supported by the LG Voyager include V CAST Mobile TV, V CAST Music and the ability to play .mp3, .wma and unprotected .aac files, and V CAST Video.

 

LG Voyager successor of the LG enV

The LG Voyager VX10000 is the successor of the LG enV VX9900 cell phone. Compared to the enV the Voyager features a larger external screen and incorporates more multimedia features. It seems like LG has understood the demand for fully featured multimedia phones.

 

 

LG  Design

LG Voyager is a sleek, stylish and shiny cell phone and boosts a clear 320x240 touch screen. Smooth round curves and a silver-coloured edge make the LG Voyager an elegant cell phone. At first, you do not have the idea the LG Voyager has a lot of buttons, on the front you only see -next to the touch screen- a 'send', 'clear' and 'end' button, and a microphone. When opening the Voyager cell phone via the side a full QWERTY keypad will appear, which is great for text messaging.

A 2 megapixel digital camera is also incorporated into the LG Voyager. In order to store all of your downloaded music and pictures, the LG Voyager supports a removable microSD card that can hold up to 8GB of memory.
