M obile telephony is hot and not only among younger fans. The mobile phone does also fit in perfectly as a trendy accessory to the belongings of a fashionista. Not only standard handsets of Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and Motorola were presented during a special event of Phone House, but also a Limited Collection. And thanks to the cooperation of Phone House I had the chance to take a closer look at some design phones; among them the latest mobile phone of the Italian fashion brand Mandarina Duck.

 

 

Mandarina phone preview

The material used for the Mandarina phone feels kind of special. Slightly harsh, as if touching rubber material, but on the other hand it is very smooth. I am aware of the fact that this description will lead to the wildest speculations but I am only sharing my feelings about this material. The front of the Mandarina handset carries the brand name in small letters. The back of the mobile phone is ornamented with a large duck logo, the logo of Mandarina Duck. This may seem a minor detail for the fashion layman among us, but for the fashion-conscious trend follower it makes all the difference; it is the distinguishing factor of the Mandarina Duck Mobile Pack.

 

 

 

Alcatel clamshell cell phone

This so-called clamshell model cell phone with the name of Mandarina Duck Mobile Pack is available in three colours - cherry red, lilac and green and will be available exclusively at Phone House from the end of October / beginning of November 2007. The next extensive Mandarina Mobile Pack preview will give you a first impression of this design model.
