B oost Mobile, a lifestyle-based telecommunications brand and wholly-owned division of Sprint has added the Boost-branded Motorola i425t and i425e handsets - the slimmest iDEN network Walkie Talkie phone ever - to its cell phone offering. Available now exclusively from Boost, both cell phones feature a sleek, lightweight candy-bar design that is less than 1/2" thick and weighs a mere 3.88 oz. Designed to appeal to Boost’s young, style-conscience customers, the Motorola i425t is available in titanium gray with a black slate trim, Boost i425e is available in white with an espresso trim.

Both Motorola i425t and i425e phones offer Wireless Web, Text and Multi-Media Messaging, AOL, Yahoo! and MSN Instant Messaging Capable, Java Enabled Games and Applications, Real Music, Polyphonic and Voice Ringtones, Hands-free Speakerphone with Voice-Activated Dialing, GPS Enabled (Global Positioning System), VibraCall Alert and 600 Entry Phonebook.

The Motorola i425 handsets are the first phones to be sold in Boost's new clamshell packaging which is made of 100% Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate material and the polypropylene black end caps are made from 35% post-consumer sources.

Both phones come with $5 of Boost Pay-As-You-Go service, and are available now online and local wireless dealers for a suggested retail price of $39.99. As with all Boost Mobile Pay-As-You-Go phones, there are no credit checks, hidden charges or monthly bills. Boost Mobile customers pay for minutes only as they need them through the purchase of Re-Boost Cards available at all authorized Boost retailers.

Boost i425 customers can also take advantage of Boost Mobile's "hybrid prepaid" option, called Boost Premium Prepaid, which offers multiple plan choices with convenient cash or credit payment options, and no term contract or commitment. Customers can sign up either online or direct from the handset for one of Boost Premium Prepaid's three monthly rate packages of $30, $50 and $70.
