HTC Touch Dual mobile phone
With the success and consumer feedback in their mind HTC developed a new Touch phone; the HTC Touch Dual. The new HTC Touch Dual is a bit smaller and a bit longer compared to the Touch mobile phone. But the main difference is the integrated keyboard. By sliding the phone the keyboard comes available and with this the most important feature is said; with the HTC Touch Dual you have a choice. A choice of using a real keyboard or not.

HTC Touch Dual - HSDPA / UMTS
When the first HTC Touch was introduced questions were made about the lack of HSDPA/UMTS speed. At that time the answer was that the Touch was a consumer level product and to keep the price low UMTS/HSDPA was not integrated in the device. Of course there was also the issue of power consumption. With the introduction of the HTC Touch Dual HSDPA/UMTS comes available and with it you will get a faster mobile device as well. To keep the power consumption as low as possible the LCD monitor of the new Dual is decreased from 2.8 to 2.6-inch and the resolution has been kept the same. Another interesting fact is that WiFi is no longer available on the HTC Touch Dual; mobile phone operators rather see a mobile device with UMTS and do not regret to see WiFi is missing...

HTC Touch Dual preview
A small comparison between the HTC Touch Dual, HTC Touch and iPod mobile phones shows that the connection of the iPhone and Touch is EDGE and WiFi where the HTC Touch Dual offers EDGE, 3G and HSDPA. Another detail is the integrated keyboard of the HTC Touch Dual where the iPhone and Touch only provide it via the screen of the device. For navigation both of the HTC mobile phones support TomTom, iPhone lacks navigation. As soon as a sample comes available we take some time to test the HTC Touch Dual mobile phone extensively.
