Harman Kardon multimedia navigation
The intuitive user interface with color-coded menus and touchscreen functions make the two new models extremely enjoyable and easy to use. They feature a clear design with clean lines, and the slim, exceptionally portable design makes them not only practical, but attractive as well. Both multimedia navigators come pre-loaded with high resolution 2D and 3D maps for immediate navigational use and the uost accuracy. The Harman Kardon GPS-300 provides fast door-to-door navigation throughout all of Western Europe. The map segments in navigation mode appear much larger to users in the 10 cm widescreen display than in many other devices. The high resolution, exceptionally bright display and anti-aliased graphics and text enhance the visual experience.
Harman Kardon GPS-300 navigation
With the new Harman Kardon GPS-300 navigational device, stressful traffic jams are a thing of the past thanks to the integrated Traffic Message Channel, which continuously provides up-to-date traffic information. The Harman Kardon GPS-200 is available in different regional configurations. The version for the German speaking European countries includes C and covers the area of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The GPS-200 for the Italian market features detailed maps for Italy, San Marino and Vatican City. The pre-installed maps of both devices of course also include all major roads of Western Europe.
Harman Kardon navigation with integrated music player
The integrated music player in the Harman Kardon GPS-300 and GPS-200 supports current MP3 and WMA formats, enabling music fans to browse their music collection by playlist, genre, artist and song title. Of course, important navigational information continues to take priority and can be seen and heard at its best even when the player is playing music. The volume and brightness can easily be adjusted using the integrated click wheel.
GPS-300 & GPS-200 multimedia navigation systems
The Harman Kardon GPS-300 and GPS-200 feature a USB 2.0 interface and support the Media Transfer Protocol for simple communication with a PC. Windows Media Player converts and transfers the audio files. No additional software is necessary. The new multimedia navigators provide several hours of music entertainment when used with a standard SD memory card of up to 4 GB. These two new navigation units are ideal travel companions thanks to the right accessories. The compact mounting brackets can be folded flat to fit into any pocket. Elegant travel pouches ensure protection when travelling. 12-volts power supplies with a USB connector and a cigarette lighter cable complete the package. The Harman Kardon GPS-300 includes an universal 110 to 230 volts wall charger.
Harman Kardon navigation - Price & Availability
Even the future roadmap for Harman Kardon in the area of navigation is well-defined: in addition to the Guide + Play devices already available, the new product family will be expanded to include additional multimedia navigation models by the end of the year. The Harman Kardon Guide + Play GPS-300 and GPS-200 will be available in stores in September 2007. The GPS-300 will be €399 (incl. VAT), and the GPS-200 will be €349 (incl. VAT) for the German speaking countries and €299 (incl. VAT) for Italy respectively.
