TomTom navigation featured in CoolBrands

T omTom, the world’s largest portable navigation solutions provider, has been included in the latest CoolBrands book for the second year in succession. CoolBrands has featured TomTom amongst some of the top brands in the UK, after the recent introduction of several new TomTom models, including the new TomTom GO family with unique features, such as Map Share and the ‘Help Me’ menu. CoolBrands identifies the very hottest brands, people and places in the UK and collates them into its cool bible, as well as featuring them on its Superbrands website. TomTom is included for the second time in this prestigious book and is the only satellite navigation provider listed.

CoolBrands listing for TomTom navigation

Andrzej Kasprzyk, vice president sales TomTom UK & Ireland says, "We are pleased to be included in the influential CoolBrands listing once again. This reflects the popularity of our products with a mass consumer audience and the fast growing adoption rate of satellite navigation in users' every day life." The CoolBrands scheme has existed since 2001 and is a key barometer of what is hot among the nation's brands. Brands are assessed by the CoolBrands council, including Radio 1 DJ Trevor Nelson and designer Ben DiLisa. A shortlist of 650 top brands is then rated by over 2,000 consumers in a YouGov online election.
