IFA - Internationale Funkausstellung
Among the innovative offers presented by the Bonn-based group under the motto "Your world," the visitors' interest concentrated especially on T-Home's IPTV Entertain offer. Many used the opportunity to try out the many new possibilities for themselves - such as time-shift television and the easy-to-use Electronic Program Guide (EPG).
Deutsche Telekom - IFA 2007 Berlin
Having presented the new Entertain services at the IFA, Deutsche Telekom aims to win between 100,000 and 200,000 customers for this TV service by the end of the year. Thanks to the rapid progress in the expansion of the broadband networks, 15 million German households can already access the IPTV offer today. And Deutsche Telekom aims to connect 750 cities with ADSL2+ (offering speeds of up to 16 Mbit/s) and 27 cities with VDSL technology (up to 50 Mbit/s) by the end of this year. This will make the new TV system available to every second household in Germany, i.e. more than 17.2 million households. The system offers 70 TV channels - as well as flat rates for unlimited surfing and phones calls within Deutsche Telekom's fixed network - for as little as EUR 59.95 per month.

T-Mobile cell phones - HSDPA support
In the field of mobile communications, "MyFaves", a novel community service presented at the IFA for the first time in Europe, excited a lot of public interest - as did mobile TV and new, innovative cell phones like MDA touch. With MyFaves customers in Germany will be able to call five friends ("favorites") very easily and at particularly low rates (5 cents per minute) starting in October. Besides attractive MyFaves handsets, T-Mobile also presented cell phones that support HSDPA with speeds of up to 3.6 Mbit/s, thus bringing a genuine broadband tempo to mobile surfing. T-Mobile helped mobile Internet surfing achieve the breakthrough in Germany under the name of web'n'walk. At the IFA, the German market leader presented the new web'n'walk portal, which will be automatically available to all users with an Internet-capable mobile phone from October 15, enabling them to personalize their entry page.

Deutsche Telekom - T-Punkt sales outlet
The T-Punkt sales outlet at the exhibition also gave a lot of intensive advice. With attractive offers - ranging from the USB stick for DVB-T reception to the Bluetooth hands-free system at a special exhibition price - many customers' wishes were quickly met. Visitors to the Deutsche Telekom stand made a point of stressing their satisfaction with the excellent advice given by the friendly staff at the stand. Deutsche Telekom thus noticeably improved its service orientation compared to the previous year - according to a market research survey conducted at the IFA fair.
