Hama will present the Tech-line 1000&1 Card Reader; a card reader that not only reads all cards without an adapter, but also does so extremely quickly. Transfer rates of up to 32 MB per second are achieved via USB 2.0 thanks to a high-speed chip set.

That pays off in the professional or semi-professional field, where super-fast cards must record pictures with high capacities or in RAW format, such as in studio and commercial photography. With just a click of the mouse, the card reader's firmware can be quickly updated throughout the Hama website, so that the reader can work with new types and capacities.

Also included at no charge is the full version of Hama Digital Software Suite Deluxe for Windows 2000/XP/Vista, with the programs ArcSoft PhotoStudio Darkroom, ArcSoft PhotoImpression 6, ArcSoft Panorama Maker 4, Hama Launch Pad, PC INSPECTOR smart recovery and the IrfanView 3.98 image viewer. The quick "omni-reader" for the Windows 2000 operating system and above, including a 1.5 m USB cable, is available in stores.
