A t the IFA 2007, Sharp showcased a complete range of mobile phones; handsets, slider phones, flip formats, clamshells and TV phones. We can imagine that one of the most interesting new features that a consumers outside the Japanese market can wish - is mobile television. The TV phone is the next big thing; the Sharp SH704i is such a device. This model is showcased at the IFA 2007 event in Berlin, Germany, with dozens of other Sharp mobile solutions. The Sharp SH704i comes with an 2.6-inch wide QVGA (240×400 resolution) screen and a 1.3 Megapixel CMOS camera. The screen features Sharp’s AQUAOS High-Definition technology and reproduces a fine and crisp image.

Sharp SH704i TV phone - Wansegu Digital TV programs
The multimedia Sharp SH704i supports Wansegu Digital TV programs in Japan. Therefore an antenna is needed to receive a better reception of the broadcast.  Furthermore the Sharp flip phone features a microSD card slot for expanding the storage capacity and IrSimple technology for transferring data at high-speed. Interesting to learn that although the Sharp SH704i is to be used as a TV phone, the camera specifications still are low qualified with only 1.3 million pixels where the competition is ready to capture 5 Megapixels or even more.
