S o small and yet so great. Two new MPEG4 miniatures round off the Grundig range of personal media players in the section above. The Grundig MPixx 7000 Fine Arts and the Grundig MPixx 4000 are characterised by their superior design, excellent quality and very good value for money. There are some players you never want to let go of once you've got your hands on them. One of them is the new MPEG4 player Grundig MPixx 7000 FineArts with the option of two or four GB flash memory. It stands out with its inner values, such as its high-contrast 2.4 inch TFT display in full colourwith 262,000 colours, operation via an intuitive, blue illuminated touchpad, an integrated loudspeaker, a micro SD card slot and a double earphone connection.

The Grundig MPixx 7000 is a real eye-catcher. The clean, elegant design and the brushed aluminium housing clearly signals that we are dealing with a top-class product from Grundig. Crystal clear playback goes without saying for all types of audio and video formats and for the inte-grated FM radio with RDS. Up to 25 radio stations can be programmed and if you especially like a piece of music that comes on the radio, you can record it directly in MP3 format at the touch of a button. Features such as ID3 tag, USB 2.0 high speed connection and WMA-DRM9/10 compatibility for music bought from the Internet are also part of the package, as well as a powerful lithium-polymer battery. This boosts the Grundig MPixx 7200/7400 FineArts to an operating time of over 20 hours and can be recharged with the USB charging unit supplied, even without a PC.

The Grundig MPixx 4100 is black and elegant and the designers have given it a glossy finish. The front panel is almost completely consumed by the 3.5 inch TFT display, which turns the miniature into a giant amongst personal media players. Its high resolution provides full colour display with razor-sharp pictures and videos with 262,000 colours.

The engineers did not hold back on the features. ID3 tag, USB 2.0 high speed connection, SD card slot and WMA DRM9 compatibility for music bought from the Internet all go without saying, and the navigation via the playlist, song track, artist or album. Experience a perfect sound not just by playing all the usual types of video and audio files but also from the integrated stereo FM radio which has over 30 presets. And if you would rather not listen to music alone, you will be glad of the in-built loudspeaker and the double earphone connection.

Grundig MPixx 4100 - 1GB internal memory

The MPixx 4100 has up to 5 GB memory available: 4 GB via the SD card slot and 1 additional GB internal flash memory. You will never be bored again. And just to make sure you don't run out of steam, the lithium polymer battery has up to 20 hours of operation. It can be recharged whenever necessary via the PC or using the USB charging unit directly at the socket.

By the way, both the MPixx 4100 and the MPixx 7000 FineArts personal media players belong to a range of products whose design and engineering originate from Germany.
