Z YB, the company that brings mobile data to life, announced today that it has reached a milestone of 100,000 users since the launch of its free online phone backup service in June 2006. This week also saw ZYB as a recipient of Red Herring 100, an award given to the top 100 private technology companies based in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region each year. In recent years, Red Herring 100 has featured the likes of Google, eBay and Skype, who were all spotted in their early days by Red Herring editors, and touted as leaders that would change the way we live and work. With its unique business model and great success until now, ZYB might well live up to this heritage.
