Avvenu users can now listen to their iTunes music collection using the Avvenu Music Player for Windows Mobile on Smartphones including the Palm Treo 750 and Treo 700w, Motorola Q, and the Samsung Blackjack. After successful completion of a closed beta test program, the Avvenu Music Player for Windows Mobile is now available to the public. "Palm customers expect our Treo smartphones to offer compatibility with the latest applications and services," said Mike Rank, director of developer relations at Palm, Inc. "The Avvenu Music Player for Windows Mobile bridges the tremendous popularity of the iTunes music service to the power of our Treo 750 and Treo 700w smartphones."

To begin using the Avvenu Music Player for Windows Mobile, users can simply fill a form at from their PC to begin installing the application. Once a user provides their mobile phone number, they will receive a SMS message to their Windows Mobile device with quick and easy to follow instructions to get them up and running on the new Avvenu Music Player for Windows Mobile.

The Avvenu Music Player for Windows Mobile recognizes iTunes playlists, artist names, album names, song names and musical genres. The Avvenu Music Player beta release for Windows Mobile includes the following features:
- Sharing up to 250 songs with friends
- Supports the Palm Treo 700w, Motorola Q, and Samsung Blackjack
- Remotely listen to users' iTunes music, even when their PC is turned off
- Supports MP3, AAC and WMA music file formats
