For example, the Motorola UBS is available today for CDMA markets supporting dual mode voice/data applications. However with its highly scaleable, all-IP architecture, the UBS is also capable of supporting future technologies like Long-Term Evolution (LTE) and Ultra Mobile Broadband (UMB). This makes it an ideal platform to support future broadband migration strategies for individual carriers. The Picocell M810 is a low-power product that offers broad capacity - up to eight carriers. The product's flexibility allows for deployment in hot spot and indoor applications. It can also be connected to an external remote amplifier for rural, outdoor configurations.

Offering a wide range of configuration and deployment options for global market applications, the Motorola UBS uses significantly less power and has a much smaller footprint than previous generations of the product. The more compact unit has the capacity to address cellular operators' future needs including the ability to add carriers from remote locations. It can be deployed in both indoor and outdoor locations.
