FOX23 mobile portal - Availability
FOX23 Mobile will be available across multiple US carriers beginning in April 2007. The content will be produced in an on-demand format utilizing U-Turn's mobile media delivery technology. U-Turn technology combines an easy-to-use content management tool that enables dynamic management of large quantities of multimedia content and allows for real-time updates, coupled with a dynamic and compelling mobile portal. Viewers log on to the FOX23 web site and click on the FOX23 Mobile icon to sign up for free. After signing up, the user is sent an SMS message that auto-configures the phone and triggers the commencement of the service.
FOX23 mobile portal - U-Turn
"We know on-demand information is what our viewers want, and we've responded. FOX23 continues to lead the market with free, user-friendly services such as FOX23 Mobile, so viewers can be informed anytime, anywhere," said Mr. Millar. FOX23 is tracking user behaviour within the portal via U-Turn's built-in reporting feature. Consumer statistics such as the average length of time spent in the portal, most popular content being accessed, the average length of download or stream per day and number of daily "hits" to the portal is just some of the information that is being used to monitor user behaviour.

Through our unique technology, we are able to provide clients like FOX23 with a way to further utilize their content and deliver via their own branded mobile portal," he added. U-Turn technology has already been successfully deployed by several TV broadcasters in the US, such as WISC and WKMG, ZeeTV in India, and TV Nova in Europe.
