Mobile device management
"We are pleased to be working with InnoPath, a technology leader and industry visionary for both client and server Integrated Mobile Device Management," said Mr. Kosei Okamoto, chief technology executive, Mobile Communications Company, an in-house company of Toshiba. "Together we are providing carriers with a solution that will help drive revenue and customer loyalty."
InnoPath iMDM suite
InnoPath's client solution is deployed on over 170 handset models, more than any other vendor, while the company commands over 90% of the Japanese MDM market based on subscribers served by its server and client solutions. InnoPath supports initial device configuration and/or provisioning, the ability to remotely diagnose the device for problems, downloading new firmware if required, and ongoing management of applications including the overall user interface. InnoPath iMDM also offers a way to secure the device if it is lost or stolen, or providing a means by which operators can restore critical data. One of the more powerful capabilities of InnoPath's iMDM suite is the ability to create a workflow, merging together a set of actions such as firmware and configuration updates. The company was recently recognized by leading research firm IDC as one of ten emerging mobile vendors to watch for 2007.
InnoPath - Toshiba mobile device management
"Operators, faced with the business realities of deploying advanced data services across a variety of complex devices, are at an advantage if they have at their disposal a pre-integrated MDM solution," said John Fazio, president and CEO of InnoPath. "This permits them to focus their energies on the things that matter most - growing the top-line through new services deployment, and focusing on customer satisfaction."
