ShieldZone invisibleSHIELD
"Only 12 companies were chosen this year, and we are thrilled to be selected for such a significant and prestigious award," said Robert Pedersen II, ShieldZone's president and CEO. "The staff at Backpacker magazine are recognized experts in outdoor gear and we are honored to have them include invisibleSHIELD. I believe we were selected because we provide the world's best scratch protection for expensive outdoor gadgets."
ShieldZone invisibleSHIELD - Award
Formed in March 2005, Salt Lake City-based ShieldZone Corp. discovered it could use a thin, transparent film originally created to protect the leading edges of military helicopter blades to shield handheld electronics with its patent-pending processes. The invisibleSHIELD is designed to not only protect LCD screens, but also wraps around the entire device to provide full body protection. ShieldZone has introduced copyrighted, precision-cut designs to custom fit more than 650 products, including mp3 players, iPods, MacBooks, PDAs, cell phones, GPSrs, digital cameras, smartphones, watch faces and other handheld devices.
