Qwest - Commitment to the Komen Foundation
"October is an important month for raising awareness and funds to help fight breast cancer," said Teresa Taylor, executive vice president and chief human resources officer at Qwest. "In light of our ongoing commitment to the Komen Foundation and finding a cure for breast cancer, along with the overwhelming response we've had to our pink phones, Qwest will strengthen its commitment to the Komen Foundation through the extension of this campaign."
Sanyo Fisher Company's Wireless Communications Division
"In June, Sanyo and Qwest came together with an innovative way to offer support for the Komen Foundation. The public's response has prompted us to increase our pledge to the Komen Foundation to help in the fight against breast cancer and raise awareness among Qwest's customers, while offering them the means to stay in touch with families, friends, and business through the use of the pink Sanyo phones," said Andy Kodera, senior vice president and general manager of Sanyo Fisher Company's Wireless Communications Division.
