LG market share

A ccording to recently released mobile phone market share data from Strategy Analytic’s Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, LG Electronics MobileComm, Inc. (LG Mobile Phones) has secured the number two ranking for sales of mobile phones in North America in 2005, selling just over 26 million handsets for the year. In addition to increasing shipment market share in the North America to 17% in all technologies for 2005, LG increased its dominance in the global handset market, once again securing the number one spot for global CDMA sales for the year. Global CDMA sales for LG were 30.4 million units vaulting LG to nearly 21% market share worldwide.
